Very Best Of The Doors
It is a shame that most widespread (and regularly repressed) version of Doors Best of doesn't contains Riders on the Storm. So if you keen on this song, you should buy an album, or try to search for other compilations. This release has all the best songs and the quality is also more than acceptable. This is a two-disc compilation album released in 1985. A diamond record in the US, it remains The Doors' best selling release and one of the best selling albums of all time. The various releases of The Very Best of the Doors during 2001 and 2007 in the U.S. Are very similar, both in their single-disc and double-disc permutations - as well as a limited edition that adds a DVD to the two-CD version - so it's very easy to get all three compilations confused. Following album, One of These Nights (1975), also had an aggressive rock stance. It was one of the best The Eagles' album, while the track Lyin' Eyes became the Grammy Award winner (Frey always called this track as his all-time favorite The Eagles' tune). But, in the same time, conflicts began to happen within the group. The Doors were serious albums artists whose music works best in the context in which it was intended, but if you have no desire to own anything beyond a sampler of their best-known tracks, then look no further than 'The Best Of The Doors'.
